Rainfall earlier this month has met some system demand and reduced losses thereby providing a small improvement to available resources.

System demands are likely to see significant draw-down in the upper storages as the peak summer period approaches, particularly if conditions remain dry with limited tributary inflow.

 

Murrumbidgee General Security water allocation increased by 2% to 31% of entitlement.

Murrumbidgee High Security water allocation remains at 95% of entitlement. 


NSW Murray General Security water allocation increased by 1% to 14%.

NSW Murray High Security water allocation remains at 97% of entitlement.

Rainfall has been patchy across the upper catchments over the last two weeks and temperatures have remained high. There is insufficient improvement in water availability to make a further allocation to general security water users at this time. 

 

Murrumbidgee General Security water allocation remains at 29% of entitlement.

Murrumbidgee High Security water allocation remains at 95% of entitlement. 

NSW Murray General Security water allocation increased by 1% to 13%.

NSW Murray High Security water allocation remains at 97% of entitlement.

Murrumbidgee general security has increased due to better then expected inflows since the last assessment. NSW Murray Valley General Security has received an allocation increase due to slightly better inflows into upper Murray. 

 

Murrumbidgee General Security water allocation increased by 2% to 29% of entitlement.

Murrumbidgee High Security water allocation remains at 95% of entitlement. 

NSW Murray General Security water allocation increased by 6% to 12%.

NSW Murray High Security water allocation remains at 97% of entitlement.

NSW Office of Water have announced extensions to the supplementary event for the Murrumbidgee and Tumut Rivers below Gogeldrie Weir to Murray Junction including Yanco, Colombo and Billabong Creeks (excluding Offtake to Morundah).

NSW Office of Water have announced an extension to the supplementary event to 4th August 2015 for the Murrumbidgee & Tumut Rivers, from Berembed Weir to the Murray Junction & parts of Yanco, Colombo and Billabong Creeks. 

Bundidgerry Creek & MI Canal opens 3rd August to 4th August with a possible extension.

NSW Office of Water have announced an extension to the supplementary event to 30th July 2015 for the Murrumbidgee & Tumut Rivers, from the Dams to the Murray Junction* & parts of Yanco, Colombo and Billabong Creeks. 

* Excludes Bundidgerry Creek & MI Canal.
